Privacy Policy

What we collect

We only collect what you type in, plus the basic records any website keeps.

• What you send us. When you request a private viewing, we collect your name, your phone number, and your email address. When you join the list, we collect your name and your email address. If you write to us by email, text, or phone, we keep that message.
• Basic technical records. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, your browser type, and the pages you opened. These are used to keep the site running and secure.

We do not ask for payment details on this site, and we do not collect any sensitive personal information.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. We run no advertising trackers and no analytics that identify you. Nothing here follows you to other websites.

We do not track you across sites, so there is nothing for a browser "Do Not Track" signal to turn off. If we ever add analytics, we will update this page first.

How we use it

We use your details to answer you. That means replying to your viewing request, arranging a time, and talking through a commission if you want one.

If you joined the list, we also email you about new work and upcoming shows. We only do that if you ticked the box asking for it. Every one of those emails has a way to stop them, and you can ask us to take you off the list at any time by emailing Chase.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it for anyone else's advertising. We do not add you to the list because you asked for a viewing. Those are two separate things and you choose each one.

Who else sees it

A small number of companies handle your information on our behalf so the site works. They may only use it to provide their service to us:

• Our web host serves the pages and keeps the server logs described above.
• Our email provider delivers your viewing request or list signup to Chase's inbox.
• Our spreadsheet provider holds the list and the viewing requests, so Chase can follow up without losing track of anyone.

We share information if the law requires it, or if we need to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.

How long we keep it

We keep viewing requests and the conversations that follow for as long as we are working together, and afterwards for as long as we may need them for our records. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host and then deleted. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you,
• correct anything that is wrong,
• delete what we hold, or
• stop contacting you.

Email Chase@ArtCParker.com and say what you want done. We will reply within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Some privacy laws, including in California and in Europe, give people these rights by statute. We honor these requests from anyone who asks, wherever you live, whether or not a particular law covers us.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and your viewing request is encrypted on its way to us. No site can promise perfect security, but we hold as little as possible, for as short a time as we can, which is the best protection there is.

Children

This site is meant for adults collecting art. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this page

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Big changes will be described here plainly.
